The Water Research Foundation (WRF) is another great source of information for ozone and biofiltration research.  IOA partnered with WRF to co-fund a research project titled "Bromate Disposition and Mechanisms of Toxicity at High and Low Doses".  This project quantified the pre-systemic and systemic metabolism of bromate at low, environmentally relevant doses, and checked the resulting detailed quantitative pharmacokinetic model of bromate metabolism in rats.  This report and others are available to the public by clicking the links below:
